Welcome to this mixed genre in-person workshop.
Welcome to the Middlebury Chapter of the Burlington Writers Workshop! We are a respectful, engaged group of writers welcoming all skill levels and genres—including poetry, creative nonfiction, memoir, short stories, novels, playwriting. The purpose of this workshop is to look closely at each other’s work and help cultivate, inspire, and strengthen our individual craft.
Construction on Ilsley Library in Middlebury is FINISHED. We are moving back home. PLEASE NOTE: We are no longer meeting online on zoom. We are back to our in-person only meetings.
We use the MFA-style of giving constructive feedback, with two
writers submitting pieces each time, by prior arrangement. Our meetings include a brief break with snacks and socializing.
We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at the library.

Andrea Chesman developed her writing chops as a food writer and cookbook author living in Ripton. For the past several years she has been writing short stories, a few of which have been published. All of these stories were workshopped with the Middlebury Chapter and much improved by the feedback given.

Meeting: Only registered members of BWW will be given access to non-public events. Membership is free and easy.
Cancel: PLEASE cancel your registration if you will not be in attendance, so people on the waitlist will be able to fill that seat.
