Poetry Feedback
Welcome to Poetry Feedback
We are a diverse gathering of published and budding poets who read and then give editing feedback on three poems of the day, making comments on impact, form, poetics, tone, message, etc. We share what works in the poem, and then what other techniques might be used to help polish the poem further.
This is a great way to grow in one’s own rewriting practice and deepen your writing skills by understanding poetry in new ways. It also helps prepare individual poems for publication for the poet who is already published, or ready to be published for the first time. When uploading a poem, please put your name and email address at the top of the page along with the title.
Before requesting to have your own poem workshopped, please attend at least one group meeting. If after you’ve attended a full workshop session, you want to share a poem, go HERE to post your poem. Once there are three posting for our workshop, those will be the poems of the day.

Host: Anne Bower looks forward to hosting the monthly Poetry Feedback workshops. Her own work has led to publication of three chapbooks: Poems for Tai Chi Players, The Space Between Us, and, co-authored with Pamela Ahlen, Getting it Down on Paper. Her poems have appeared in literary journals such as The Raven’s Perch, The Bluebird Word, Gemini Magazine, and others, along with a few anthologies. She continues to work on poetry but is now also attempted novels.
